Durlston Walling; A jurassic limestone traditionally quarried in the Isle of Purbeck, this beautiful walling stone has been used since the Roman Times. This distinctive walling was a particular favourite for the building of Cathedrals and Churches throughout the Dorset and the UK as well as dwellings and garden walling. The natural layering of this durable walling material lends itself to traditional mortared or drystone walling applications and has excellent frost resistance. The natural colour variation is predominantly a creamy beige with some browns and grey blues.
